Katrina Lorenzo is a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern (IMT 3181). Born and raised in South Florida, she is bilingual in English and Spanish. Katrina had the privilege of obtaining her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University (NSU).
Katrina’s goal is to collaborate with children, adolescents, and adults. She enjoys working with her clients while building their self-esteem and helping them navigate life transitions by discovering their strengths and resources. Katrina intends on creating a safe, non-judgmental, and comfortable environment for her clients.
Additional Affiliations: Katrina is a Member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). She has interned at the PROMISE program, which provides an alternative to suspension or arrest for at risk youth in Broward County. Working with children that range from ages 4-18 at The PROMISE program has given her many tools for working with children and adolescents alike. In addition, Katrina gained experience working with adults and couples as an intern at the Brief Therapy Institute (BTI) at NSU.
Katrina utilizes Solution Focused and other systemic modalities. She is currently accepting new clients and has daytime and evening appointments available.
